Accommodation Options
Sportweni offers a variety of accommodation that can be selected from, and can cater for up to 1500 deligates per day.
Sportweni (scholars only)
Dormitory, bunk-bed “camp style” accommodation with communial showers and toilets, and requires that scholars provide their own bedding. Sportweni is within easy walking distance from the Umtentweni beach.
Oslo Beach Lodge
Oslo Beach Lodge is situated approximately 4km's from the sport fields. This 3 star venue provides upmarket accommodation, is fully equipped and can sleep 60 people. The lodge has a restaurant, conference venue, ladies bar and beautiful sea views. Bedding is provided.

Kapenta Bay Hotel (50 x 6 bed self catering units)
Each unit comprises 3 bedrooms; two with double beds and one with two single beds and are fully equipped. Each unit has a lounge with DSTV and 24-hour security is provided. It is situated on the Port Shepstone main beach and is within walking distance from Port Shepstone High School. Units to be occupied to full capacity ( 6 scholars or a minimum of 4 teachers per unit)

Umthunzi Boutique Hotel (Old Pepper Pots)
This newly build boutique hotel is situated within walking distance from the Umtentweni beach. Umthunzi has 20 double rooms and 5, 3-star units that can accommodate a further 30 people. Combined with the luxury, the stunning sea views add to overall beauty of this lovely venue.

Port Shepstone High School
Two newly upgraded hostels provide good accommodation. No driving to the sport fields can cut costs. A swimming pool and 24 hour security is available. Scholars are required to provide their own bedding.

Both schools provide neat accommodation, and are within walking distance from the sportfields. Scholars are required to provide their own bedding.

Ayton Manor Country House
Ayton Manor is situated approximately 8 kilometres from the sport fields. This guest house can sleep 40 people. It has conference facilities, a swimming pool and park-like gardens which adds to the tranquil atmosphere of this 4-star venue.

Hillbillion Estate
Hillbillion has the most amazing 360 degree views, as it is situated in the Oslo Beach area on top of a hill. It has a ladies bar, dining area and a swimming pool to go with its upmarket rooms that can accommodate 40 people.

Umdlalo Lodge
This 4-star venue caters mostly for the teachers of groups staying at Sportweni. It has a ladies bar, 9 upmarket rooms and a dining area that serves as a restaurant in the evenings. It also has a lovely patio where sun downers can be enjoyed.

Tweni Waterfront
This 3-star venue is situated on the Umtentweni river and can accommodate 30 people. Ample parking and a swimming pool add to the comfort of this venue, which is situated approximately 800 meters from Sportweni and Umdlalo Lodge.

Honeywood Guest House
Honeywood provides 9 upmarket self-catering units. A "bush-like" feel makes this 'girls only' venue ideal for smaller groups that would like to relax away from the city. Meals are catered for when Sportweni groups are booked in at Honeywood.
